Chelsea are considering selling goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga at the end of the season, according to reports in the UK. The Spaniard has failed to live up to expectations since his £71m move from Athletic Bilbao eighteen months ago.
The Blues are reportedly looking at Burnley shot-stopper Nick Pope as a potential replacement, but the London club’s interest in the England international has not gone down well with some supporters on Twitter:
Nick Pope? @ChelseaFC seriously?!

Somehow I feel in 2-3 years we will have an all English team

That would be huge mistake.
I think this is nothing more than rumour and the hierarchy paid a lot for him for a reason, after scouting him over several times.
He was excellent last year, but most Chelsea fans have short term memory and like to go with an agenda.

Pope’s save percentage this season is 68%, which is significantly better than Kepa (60%), but that is still some way below Liverpool’s Alisson who has saved 82% of his shots so far this campaign.
Fans are very keen to see Chelsea find a keeper who would be a genuine upgrade on their current number one and the jury is still very much out on Pope.
The Clarets number one is actually older than Kepa at 27 years of age and only has 59 appearances in the Premier League to his name.
