Everton are ready to pay £25m for Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech, according to reports in the English media
Despite being without a manager after the departure of Frank Lampard, the Toffees are keen on recruiting the Moroccan international before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.
It is believed that Chelsea are open to letting Ziyech leave Stamford Bridge this month but there has been a mixed reaction to Everton’s interest among fans on Twitter:

Ridiculous. Worth more, shouldn’t sell our best crosser unless he wants to leave. He deserves better than a relegation side too.

Tbh 25m is quite good if that’s true considering he will leave anyways sooner or later and that we have Madueke now.

One of the biggest problems facing the Blues is that they have too many players. At the moment, a fair number could be left out of the Champions League squad and manager Graham Potter is keen to reduce the size of the first-team.
Despite performing well in recent matches, Ziyech could be one of those sacrificed. Whether he would be prepared to move to a crisis-ridden club like Everton is another matter, so we shall see how this transfer story develops.
