Chelsea forward Timo Werner had a frustrating evening as the Blues lost out to Leicester in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
The German had the pace to get in behind the Foxes, but poor decision making, errant shooting and an inability to stay onside resulted in yet another disappointing display.
Manager Thomas Tuchel has continued to play Werner, despite his obvious shortcomings, but supporters on Twitter have now lost patience with the 25-year-old’s ineffectiveness in front of goal:

Werner is a bit of an enigma. The forward clearly has talent and his 26 goals and assists this season means he does contribute to the team, but he is not the goalscorer many supporters had pictured when he was signed from RB Leipzig last summer.
The German international could yet rediscover his touch in front of goal next campaign, but many fans feel he has already been given ample opportunity to show he should be the club’s number nine.
