Schurrle’s Form Improved By Chelsea Transfer

Schurrle’s Form Improved By Chelsea Transfer

Andre Schurrle is one of the most in vogue players at the moment. His transfer to Chelsea has definitely helped the German international grow a lot more than expected. He has become a fan favourite at Stamford Bridge and he managed a hat-trick for his national team in the game against Sweden this week. According to Metro Joachim Low is delighted with the fact that his player made the step to join the Blues. The German manager even stated that without this summer move, Schurrle would have ended up in a mediocre state that could have affected his career in a negative way.

Schurrle left Leverkusen during the summer to join Mourinho’s team. The young forward was on Chelsea’s wish-list even since the 2013 winter transfer period being one of the most wanted targets on the European market. The Blues paid £18 million for the 22 year old who made his debut on the 18th of August.  Things took off since then and Schurrle has now become a team regular.

Low stated that even if Chelsea’s player is very young, there were very high expectations from all directions concerning his performances. Germany’s boss said that he even spoke with Schurrle about his poor form while playing for Leverkusen.

During the past few months, the German international exploded. He is now one of the most dynamic and versatile players on the pitch. He is excellent in front of goal but can also help a lot both Chelsea and Germany’s international team when it comes to defending a result. Low was also happy with the fact that the Blues’ player has improved his physical strength which was starting to become an issue while playing for Leverkusen.

Because of his excellent form Schurrle is now a definite candidate for a spot in Low’s team for the World Cup in Brazil. Hopefully the 22 year old will keep up his excellent performances and will manage to help both Chelsea and Germany win some big trophies in 2014. Looking at his current form and at his 2013 performances, the German international should have an amazing future in front of him.
