Sarri Praises “Immense” Hazard And Reveals He Expects Superstar To Stay

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has lavished praise on midfielder Eden Hazard but has warned that the Blues superstar still has a lot to improve in his game.

The Italian boss believes the 27-year-old has the potential to be one of the best three or four players in the world, but he thinks he needs to use his teammates more often than he does:

“Hazard is immense and I don’t think even he knows how much he can still improve. I said he could end up in the tight circle of the best three or four players in the world.”

If you agree with Sarri then you may want to place a wager on the Belgian ace staying with Chelsea using https://www.bettingsites.ng where you can get excellent odds.

The new Chelsea boss went on to say…

“The problem is he plays to enjoy himself and at times doesn’t realise the importance of moving from fun to reaping the rewards. At the end of the day, you’ve got to get the fruits of your labour.”

“Hazard’s approach is a positive, but it can become a potential limitation too. He needs to lift his head up, look around and realise there’s a whole world in front of him that he can dictate with his feet for the good of the collective and not just the individual.”

Sarri also said he was surprised by how much praise Hazard sent his way despite only being in the job a few months. The Belgian international has indicated he may have to leave Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid at some point to win the Ballon d’Or. But when talking about the Chelsea star’s future, the Blues boss said he expects him to stay at the club:

“He said such kind words about me, I wasn’t expecting that. His contract expires in 2020, but he’s staying here.”

Whether that means he will be staying for the long-term and will sign a contract extension, we shall have to wait and see.
