Sarri Planning Transfer Raid On Chelsea As He Looks To Snap Up Hudson Odoi

Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri is hoping to sign Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi on loan, according to reports in the Italian media.

Reliable journalist Matt Law has confirmed that the Blues are listening to offers for the 20-year-old and it appears a move to Italy to join up with his former boss could be on the cards.

Lazio have been unable to shift Joaquin Correa who would have provided them with substantial transfer funds, meaning their efforts to snap up Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic and Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Brandt have hit the buffers.

The Serie A club have, therefore, been looking at potential cheaper alternatives and Hudson-Odoi’s name has entered the mix. Chelsea are unwilling to include a purchase clause in the winger’s loan but that is not seen as a problem.

Sarri wants to sign a player who can cut in from the left flank and he is said to be keen to have someone with Hudson-Odoi’s quality.
