Sarri Keen For Chelsea To Replace Zappacosta With £45m Rated Albanian

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri wants Napoli fullback Elseid Hysaj to replace Davide Zappacosta, according to reports in England.

Lazio are believed to be in advanced talks about a loan for the Italian international, with a purchase option of £13m possibly being included in the deal.

However, the Blues board will only allow Zappacosta to be offloaded once a replacement has been secured.

Hysaj has worked with Sarri both at Empoli and Napoli, but he has not signed a new contract at the Partenopei and could be set to leave this month.

Whether the Chelsea boss will get his wish, it isn’t certain. The Albanian international is valued at £45m and the Blues may feel that the right-back is not worth the money considering they already have Cesar Azpilicueta to play in that position.

The Spaniard only recently signed a new deal at Stamford Bridge and is the de-facto club captain with Gary Cahill out of the first-team picture.
