RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer has turned down a move to Chelsea, according to Bild reporter Christian Falk.
The German journalist claims that the Austrian international, who will be available on a free transfer next summer, will not be making the switch to Stamford Bridge, with Bayern Munich his preferred destination:
TRUE✅ Konrad Laimer (25) @RBLeipzig said NO to @ChelseaFC. The free agent wants to join @FCBayern in summer

Laimer has actually been linked with a fair few Premier League teams in recent months, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal having all been credited with an interest in the player.
However, a Bosman move to Bayern always seemed to be on the cards. The Bundesliga champions made an approach to sign the 25-year-old in the summer transfer window, but they failed to reach an agreement with Leipzig over a transfer fee.
Although Chelsea have seemingly missed out on Laimer, they are expected to snap up his teammate Christopher Nkunku, with reports suggesting a deal worth €70m (£60m) has been agreed. Graham Potter’s side also retain a strong interest in Josko Gvardiol so there could still be up to two Leipzig stars heading to London.
