Rudiger, Pulisic And Jorginho To Start, Gilmour On The Bench: Chelsea’s Predicted Eleven For Wolves Clash

It will be interesting to see who new manager Thomas Tuchel will pick to start for his first match in charge of Chelsea against Wolves tonight.

Edouard Mendy is likely to be favoured ahead of Kepa Arrizabalaga in goal, while Antonio Rudiger may start at the back, with Tuchel known to be a fan of his fellow countryman.

The German is expected to line up alongside Thiago Silva in the centre of defence, with Reece James and Ben Chilwell as the two fullbacks. Captain Cesar Azpilicueta may only make the bench.

In midfield, many fans would have hoped Billy Gilmour would be given his first league start of the season after his performance against Luton at the weekend. However, Tuchel may opt for experience with Jorginho. Kai Havertz and Mason Mount could line up ahead of the Italian.

Up front, Timo Werner may be handed the centre-forward position, with Hakim Ziyech on the right and Christian Pulisic on the left flank.
