Roma Keen On Signing Lukaku

New offers might emerge for Romelu Lukaku who seems to be one of the most popular strikers Europe has to offer. His determination and skill have convinced all but one manager that he is ready to perform at the highest level possible. Mourinho seems uninterested in working with the striker despite his excellent Premier League performances. Roma look keen on capitalizing on the fact that the relationship between the two is not that great. The Italians might place a bid for Lukaku who is still under contract with Chelsea for the next two years.

According to talkSPORT, Chelsea will have to decide Lukaku’s future very soon. The Belgian international who insists he will want to finally make the Blues’ first eleven next season, will have to consider his choices though if Mourinho decides to send him on loan for another year. Roma could be a step up for Lukaku who is now closer to the Europa League than the Champions League where the Italians are certain to participate. Everton are 100% sure they will not make the cut for the Champions League and they are now just hoping to qualify for the Europa League after their loss to Man City tonight.

With Lukaku’s loan close to its end, Roma might want to test the waters first, before making a definitive deal. The 20 year old striker may not adapt well to Serie A which is totally different from the Premier League. Because of that he might not move to Rome for good right from the beginning of next season. He will more than likely be sent off on loan for yet another year.
