Robert Lewandowki’s Stance On Joining Chelsea Is Revealed After ‘Contact’ Is ‘Made’ About 52M Move

Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is a target for Chelsea but the Polish international is not yet open to a move to England, according to Sky Germany.

There were reports in the English press earlier this month that said Bayern would be willing to let the goal machine leave the Allianz Arena for €60m (£52m) this summer if he doesn’t sign a new contract.

Lewandowski has two years remaining on his current deal, leading to speculation that the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona will be interested in snapping up the forward.

Sky claim that “contact” has already been “made” between the Blues and the player’s entourage, but currently “England is still not the most attractive destination.”

It is believed that Lewandowski would be more open to moving to Spain but Barca are expected to sign Sergio Aguero from City on a free transfer, meaning the player could yet remain at Bayern.
