Chelsea will consider a swap deal involving Emerson Palmieri and Juventus left-back Alex Sandro, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Italian website reports that Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has a “soft spot” for Sandro and would be very interested in bringing him to Stamford Bridge.

It is believed that Tuchel previously tried to sign the Brazilian when he was still at Paris Saint-Germain and it appears he is interested in reviving his interest in the player.

For his part, Sandro is reportedly “ready to leave” Juve for a new challenge in the Premier League, but it remains to be seen whether an agreement can be reached between the two clubs.

Calciomercato claims that the Bianconeri would value Emerson at “half” the price of Sandro so this wouldn’t be a straight swap. The Serie A side would demand money in addition to the Chelsea fullback. Whether there is a genuine chance of this happening, we shall have to wait until the summer.
