REPORT: Sancho Deal Relies On TWO Chelsea Players Leaving This Summer

Chelsea ARE interested in Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho but any bid will be dependent on players leaving Stamford Bridge, according to Dan McCarthy.

The insider, who claims he has two reliable sources with knowledge about the deal, says that a transfer hinges on the likes of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Hakim Ziyech being sold.

Manager Thomas Tuchel currently has too many wingers so signing Sancho will not be on the cards unless there are some departures. Ziyech has been linked with an exit since January with the Moroccan having failed to establish himself as a regular starter.

Hudson-Odoi has played even less frequently, having only made two starts since February, suggesting that Tuchel may not see him as an essential part of his future plans.

Offloading these two players would clear the way for Sancho, but the Blues would face competition for the England international’s signature, most notably from Manchester United and possibly even Liverpool.
