Report Names The SIX Players That Lampard Is Keen To Sell As Chelsea Look To Fund £70m Transfer

Chelsea could sell six players in order to fund their bid for Bayer Leverkusen forward Kai Havertz, according to the Express.

The German could reportedly cost in excess of £70m and the Blues have been looking at ways they can increase their transfer budget by selling off unwanted players.

Emerson Palmieri is the likeliest to go at the moment, with multiple reports claiming that Inter Milan have opened formal talks over signing the Italian fullback.

However, it is believed that Chelsea will also listen to offers for Marcos Alonso, Danny Drinkwater, Michy Batshuayi, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Kenedy.

In normal circumstances, selling those players would be more than enough to finance a deal to sign Havertz but the current financial climate means prices will be deflated, with many clubs only looking at swap deals or loan agreements.

It remains to be seen how many of the six the Blues will be able to offload this summer.
