REPORT: Chelsea Star Could ‘Leave The Blues At The End Of The Season’ After Being Overlooked By Tuchel

Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech could be among the first players to be sent packing by manager Thomas Tuchel this summer, according to Calciomercato.it.

The Italian website claims that the Moroccan international is one of the likeliest players to “leave the Blues at the end of the season” after being used sparingly by Tuchel since his arrival as manager in January.

Ziyech has only started four of Tuchel’s 12 league matches in charge and, despite scoring a goal in the second leg of their Champions League last 16 tie against Atletico Madrid, he did not feature versus Porto last week.

The fact that he is only being used sporadically by Tuchel has led to some suggestions that the German doesn’t see the 28-year-old as a key component of his first-team squad.

It must be pointed out, though, that there were similar comments made about Christian Pulisic only a couple of weeks ago, but the American has come to the fore in recent games. The same may yet happen for Ziyech.
