Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku has told his representatives to keep the channels open with both Chelsea and Manchester City, according to the Corriere Dello Sport (via TMW).
The newspaper reports that the Belgian international is happy to stay at the San Siro but doubts over the long-term future of Antonio Conte means he will not rule out a move away from the Serie A champions.
For their part, Inter are willing to sell Lukaku but only if a club matches their €120m (£103m) asking price, which could well put off clubs from making an offer for the 27-year-old.
Chelsea are very keen on signing a new number nine, and Lukaku would be a cheaper alternative to Erling Haaland. The presence of City in the race for the former Manchester United player could, though, still complicate matters, and we may have to until the summer to see whether the Belgian is open to moving clubs.
