Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger is “on the exit ramp” at Stamford Bridge, according to Defensa Central.
The Spanish rumour mongers claim that the German international has rejected the Blues’ latest contract offer, as he continues to hold out for approximately €12m a year.
Rudiger is keen to have wage parity with the likes of N’Golo Kante and Timo Werner but the 28-year-old has, so far, not been satisfied with the proposals tabled by Chelsea.
Defensa Central suggest that he is “more likely than ever” to be interested in moving to Real Madrid at the end of the season. Both the La Liga side and Bayern Munich are believed to be favourites to land the defender if he does leave London on a free transfer next year.
Real, in particular, want to sign a new centre-half, but it remains to be seen whether Rudiger will be tempted by their offer or if Chelsea can meet his contract demands.
