Chelsea have cooled their interest in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Kays Ruiz-Atil, according to Goal France. The website claims that the Blues have opted against making a move for the 17-year-old this summer.

There were reports from other outlets in the French media that the player was very much on the Blues’ radar, but it appears the Moroccan will not be making the switch to Stamford Bridge.

Ruiz-Atil’s current contract expires at the end of next season, and with the teenager believed to be unwilling to sign a new one, PSG were looking to sell up.

It reportedly led to discussions with Chelsea over a potential transfer in the January transfer window, but the London club will not be following up their interest.

Ruiz-Atil has not made his senior debut for PSG yet, but he has featured prominently for the club’s Under 19 side in the UEFA Youth League. Whether the Blues will consider reviving the deal in the future, we shall see.
