Chelsea are preparing an offer to sign AC Milan pair Theo Hernandez and Pierre Kalulu, according to Calciomercatoweb.it.
The Italian website claim that the Blues are “willing to invest” a total of €87m (£75m) in the two players, who played important roles in Milan winning the Serie A title last season.
Hernandez has been a target for Chelsea previously but the Frenchman signed a new contract in February and interest in the fullback had cooled, but it is said Thomas Tuchel’s are now prepared to pay £50m/€58m to secure his services
In terms of Kalulu, Calciomercatoweb.it say an offer up to £25m/€29m is being considered. The 22-year-old is a centre-back by trade but he can also play as a right-back and left-back, making him ideally suited for a back three.
We shall have to wait and see whether this report is corroborated by more reliable sources but it is an interesting development nonetheless.
