REPORT: Chelsea Watch TWO Ligue One Starlets In Action At The Weekend

Chelsea are keeping tabs on Dijon pair Mounir Chouiar and Bryan Soumare, according to the Sun. The Blues sent scouts to see the two players play against Paris Saint-Germain last week.

Soumare was an unused substitute versus PSG but Chouiar played a starring role. The 20-year-old scored his side’s equaliser as Dijon came from 1-0 down to win 2-1 in a shock result on Friday evening.

Chouiar only joined from Lens in September so it is unlikely that Chelsea will make an immediate move for the winger; especially with the club’s transfer ban still in place.

The France Under 20 international generally plays off the left flank, cutting in onto his stronger right foot to get strikes away on goal.

Soumare, meanwhile, is a central midfielder and has started three of Dijon’s 11 league games this campaign. He only made his senior debut back in August but he has already made an impression on visiting scouts.
