REPORT: Chelsea Superstar Attracting Attention From European Clubs

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is reportedly a transfer target for both Napoli and Juventus, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

The American all-star has had a disappointing season at Stamford Bridge this season – across 21 Premier League games, he has scored just one goal, with only a single assist to speak of also. Additionally, he has not featured for the Blues in the league since mid-April.

Chelsea’s squad, following a turbulent pair of transfer windows, is heavily bloated – especially in terms of wingers and attacking midfielders. It’s expected that they will look to offload some of them in the summer – Pulisic could be one of several casualties ahead of the summer. As things stand, however, his availability for transfer is unclear.

At just 24 years of age, Pulisic has plenty of developing to do – but with players such as Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Raheem Sterling all being brought in over the last 12 months, his position at the club looks uncertain.

Pulisic signed for Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 – since then, he has made 95 appearances for the club, scoring 20 goals in the Premier League. He has also been a consistent performer for the USA on the national stage, scoring 23 goals across 58 USMNT caps.
