REPORT: Chelsea Star ‘One Step Away’ From Sealing Exit With Move Expected To Be Completed By Wednesday

Chelsea centre-back Fikayo Tomori is “one step away” from completing his loan move to AC Milan, according to TMW.

The Italian website does not give any further information with regards to the details of the deal but they say an agreement has almost been reached between the two clubs, with the move expected to be completed within the first few days of next week.

There has been some speculation that a purchase option will be included in the loan, much to the consternation of some Blues fans. Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Milan were keen to include a clause where they could buy Tomori for €30m (£27m) in the summer.

Whether that is an issue which still needs to be resolved, we shall have to wait and see, but it does appear that the defender will be leaving Stamford Bridge, at least on a temporary basis until the end of the season.
