REPORT: Chelsea Star Keen To Leave Stamford Bridge In The January Transfer Window

Chelsea attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech is planning to leave the London club when the transfer window opens in January, according to Bild.

The Moroccan international has struggled for form and fitness since he arrived from Ajax in 2020, and it is believed a move to Germany could be on the horizon.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly weighing up whether to make a bid for Ziyech as they look to strengthen their options out wide.

Whether Chelsea will consider letting the 28-year-old go, it isn’t known. Manager Thomas Tuchel has recently stated that the player is still part of his plans.

However, Ziyech has only started two Premier League games this campaign, and he has been an unused substitute on six occasions in all competitions, including the draw against Burnley last weekend.

The Moroccan is just one match shy of 50 for the Blues, but his eight goals and five assists is not exactly a great return, considering the high hopes they had for him when he joined the club.
