Chelsea are interested in Inter Milan playmaker Nicolo Barella, according to Leggo. The Italian newspaper claims the 24-year-old is “in the sights” of the Blues ahead of the summer transfer window.

Inter are expected to sell at least one high-profile player, despite winning Serie A, and the Italian club are said to value Barella at around €70m (£60m).

The Italian international played a key role in helping Antonio Conte’s side lift the league title, scoring three goals and providing 13 assists in all competitions.

Barella is not the only Inter player who Chelsea are looking at either, with reports in the English press suggesting that the Blues may consider making a bid for Romelu Lukaku, as they look to add goals to their attack.

It is very unlikely, though, that both players would end up moving to Stamford Bridge, with the Nerazzurri keen to keep most of their Championship winning squad together.
