REPORT: Chelsea Hold Talks With Agent Of Unsettled Bayern Munich Star

Chelsea and Tottenham have both held talks with the agent of Bayern Munich defender Mats Hummels, according to reports in Germany.

The German international is said to have become unsettled at the Allianz Arena after falling behind both Niklas Sule and Jerome Boateng in the pecking order under manager Niko Kovac.

Hummels’s representative Marc Kosicke is believed to have travelled to London for discussions with both the Blues and Spurs in view to a January departure from Bayern.

For their part, the Bundesliga club have denied the speculation, stating that the 30-year-old is currently happy with life at the German champions.

So far, though, Hummels himself has not come out to refute the claims. The centre-back has started just eight league games so far this campaign, although it must be said he has been named in the starting eleven for Bayern’s last two league matches against Hannover and RB Leipzig.
