GK – Robert Sanchez – Filip Jorgensen was injured on international duty so the Spaniard will keep his place by default.
RB – Malo Gusto – Reece James is back in first-team training but he won’t be fit to start this weekend. The Frenchman will be given the nod ahead of the club captain.
CB – Tosin Adarabioyo – Wesley Fofana is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season against Nottingham Forest. Tosin is set to come in as his replacement.
CB – Levi Colwill – the centre-back did not feature in England’s second Nations League fixture against Finland which raised concerns about his fitness but it is hoped that he will be available on Sunday.
LB – Renato Veiga – like Fofana, Marc Cucurella has managed to accrue five yellow cards so his understudy will come in to start at Anfield.
