Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga put in another impressive display to keep a clean sheet against Tottenham last night.
While he wasn’t troubled at all in the first half, the Spaniard was called into action after the interval, crucially intervening to stop Lucas Moura, whilst also saving well from Emerson Royal and Ryan Sessegnon.
Kepa has really stepped things up in Edouard Mendy’s absence, and fans on Twitter were keen to praise the 27-year-old after he helped the Blues progress to the Carabao Cup final:
Top GK tbh. He's rediscovering his quality under Tuchel. Just like a lot of players that Tuchel has improved, Kepa is one of them

The Spanish international has kept five clean sheets in eight appearances so far this campaign, and it does appear that he has regained his confidence.
Competing for his place alongside Mendy has also, undoubtedly, helped Kepa to refocus, and even though he is unlikely to keep his place when Mendy returns from AFCON, manager Thomas Tuchel will be glad to have such a reliable backup option in the squad.
