Real Madrid to join Chelsea in pursuit of Wales superstar

Real Madrid are ready to battle Chelsea and Manchester United for the signature of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to reports.

Ramsey looks set to leave Arsenal at the end of the season after failing to agree a new deal with the club.

The Welshman wants a huge increase in wages in order to stay in North London, however the Gunners aren’t willing to match his reported £200,000-per-week demands.

Arsenal have now taken the offer of a new deal off the table, and will listen to offers for Ramsey in January in order to avoid losing him on a free next summer.

Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked to Ramsey with Chelsea believed to have been interested during the summer.

And Teamtalk now report that Real Madrid are also interested in the Wales international.

Madrid are on the hunt for a new midfielder to partner both Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in a three man system, and have reportedly identified Ramsey as a potential target.
