The 24-year-old has undoubtedly been money well spent. His eight goals in 12 appearances is a very good start, although three of those have been penalties.
Werner has looked sharp since the start of the season, and while it did take him until his fifth start to get his first Premier League goal, he has been excellent since the last international break.
