Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is a fitness concern heading into the Blues’ game against Arsenal this weekend. The American international missed an open training session today suggesting he has suffered an injury setback.

While Romelu Lukaku did take part and is very likely to make his second debut for the club on Sunday, the absence of Pulisic will be a worry for manager Thomas Tuchel, along with the three other players who didn’t train.

Hakim Ziyech’s shoulder injury means he won’t be available until after the next international break in September, while Ruben Loftus Cheek’s positive virus test suggests he is unlikely to feature at the Emirates.

N’Golo Kante is also now a major doubt ahead of the Gunners clash. The Frenchman sat out the 3-0 win over Crystal Palace with an ankle problem, but it seems to be a more serious issue than originally feared, as he has still not returned to full training.
