PSG Pushing Forward For Hazard Transfer

PSG Pushing Forward For Hazard Transfer

Even since the winter transfer period, PSG have expressed their desire to sign Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard. The 23 year old midfielder who was the Blues’ top scorer this season is now according to the Mirror a top priority for the French side who insist on snatching Mourinho’s most efficient player. It seems that PSG will want to make it a double as David Luiz is their second most important transfer for this summer. Despite Chelsea’s refusal to sit down with Ligue 1 winners, sources say that there will be no stopping the Qatari investors who have set their mind on the Belgian winger.

The chances for a transfer have increased since the winter especially after Hazard’s dispute with Mourinho. The two had some differences of opinion after the Blues were eliminated from the Champions League. Apparently Chelsea’s top scorer was unhappy with the fact that his team lacks attacking force and that the Portuguese manager is too defensive.

Mourinho responded to Hazard’s statements by saying players like the Belgian could have done more for the team. That particular public observation was a bit of a stretch and seemed more of a forced response rather than a meaningful comment. Hazard has been Chelsea’s number one player having scored the most goals. Even if the two publicly stated that there are no actual issues and that their comments were the result of accumulated stress, it is hard to believe either of the two changed their mind regarding one another.
