Chelsea fans named winger Hakim Ziyech their man of the match for his performance in the 4-0 victory against Krasnodar in the Champions League yesterday evening.
The Moroccan international was very impressive, scoring the Blues’ third goal, as well as having another four attempts on target. Fans on Twitter are delighted by the midfielder’s positivity when in possession of the ball:

Ziyech has had to wait a long time to get his first start for Chelsea. The 27-year-old was signed all the way back in February for an initial €40m (£34m) but a knee injury at the beginning of the season meant he had only managed substitute appearances before he was named in the eleven last night.
Of course, Krasnodar are not the strongest of opponents and it will be interesting to see how the winger fares when he comes up against sterner opposition in the Premier League in the coming weeks.
