Chelsea are interested in signing Porto winger Luis Diaz, according to reports in the Portuguese media.
The agents of the Colombian are said to be on their way to the UK for talks with interested clubs, with both the Blues and Tottenham said to be the player’s main suitors.
However, Diaz has an €80m (£68m) release clause, and fans on Twitter don’t think Diaz is a player they should be going after, especially if Porto demand that clubs pay his buyout fee:

He’s very good but too expensive and also won’t make sense with our amount of forwards

Diaz did impress when he came up against Chelsea in the Champions League last season, while he also put in some standout performances for Colombia at the Copa America.
Even so, you would think that signing a winger would not be a priority for manager Thomas Tuchel. The Blues are thought to be targeting a centre-back and, possibly, a midfielder before the transfer window closes later this month.
