No FFP Concerns For Chelsea!

The Blues have continually recorded losses ever since Roman Abramovich took over the club and splashed out millions to transform the west London side. In fact, back in January 2012, Chelsea announced a huge financial loss of £67 million.

However, things have changed since then and the return of Jose Mourinho as manager has brought much-needed stability to the club. The Special One has sold Juan Mata and David Luiz for huge sums, which has resulted in the club becoming profitable.

Chelsea are close to announcing their financial results with the Mirror reporting that the club have made an annual profit amounting to £20 million, along with record turnover of around £320 million.

Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City have been affected by FFP this season and they may not be able to spend big in January. However, there will be no such problems for Mourinho, who can further strengthen his squad in the winter transfer window.
