Mourinho To Hold Crunch Talks With Madrid

Jose Mourinho has had somewhat of a Midas’ touch with every team he has managed. Wherever he goes, he delivers trophies. That is a fact. It all started way back when he came into the spotlight when Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich brought him to Stamford Bridge following his exploits at Porto, where he won the league, and the holy grail of Europe – the UEFA Champions League. He then made Chelsea into a team to be reckoned with both in England and Europe.

The self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ had a trophy laden 3 and a bit years at the helm of Chelsea, before he left under clouded circumstances. The next season he decided to take on a new challenge and took charge of Italian giants Inter Milan. He delivered instantly at the San Siro, where his team romped away with the Serie A to win 3 consecutive Scudettos, the cup and the UEFA Champions League.

Having achieved everything he could in Italy, he again moved on to face further challenges, and chose to take over the legendary Spanish team of Real Madrid. He has already led Real to every Spanish trophy that can be won in his 2 seasons so far including beating fierce rivals Barcelona in the league last season and although they have not had such a good campaign in La Liga this season they are still one of the favorites to clinch the Champions League this season.

Given his success in four different countries where has won all the trophies possible in each country including the league titles and any cups (FA Cup, Super Cups and League Cup or equivalents), it is proven that this man is perhaps one of the best managers of all time.

Recent media reports suggest that Mourinho is keen to make a sensational return to England at the end of the current season. This has resulted in the likes of the two Manchester clubs, along with former club Chelsea being linked to him. Recently it has been reported that Mourinho will be sitting down with Madrid president Perez at the end of this month to discuss his future, with the hope of the two individuals coming to an agreement even though Mourinho only signed a contract extension last summer tying him to the club until the summer of 2016.

However, insider reports believe that the capital club are resolved to lose their manager as he is eager to return to England next season, if that’s true, then where do you see the ‘Special One’ heading next summer?
