The 18-year old Adrien Rabiot has impressed on several outings this season for the runaway French league leaders. He has made the most of his chances and looks like a promising future talent. He has shown his talent and class, along with shades of creative brilliance to attract scouts from several top European clubs, who have watched him closely since the last few months.

English giants Chelsea are understood to have a keen interest in him, and even tried to sign him in January but were unsuccessful. They are however set to return with a renewed attempt at signing the teenager after it was revealed that he has rejected PSG’s offer for a new contract, and is resolved to quitting the French powerhouses in the summer.

Rabiot is currently on a weekly salary of £5,000, but is demanding a whooping £60,000 – something PSG are unwilling to meet, write Metro. Monitoring this situation closely is Mourinho, who is a huge admirer of Rabiot and wishes to bring him to Stamford Bridge ahead of next season. He is willing to go as high as £8 million to secure his services and even willing to meet his salary demands in order to pull this deal off.
