Mourinho Protecting Torres From Unnecessary Hassle From Cameraman

Torres continues to make the headlines despite his continuous lack of form. According to Metro, the Spaniard was recently the subject of a very awkward dispute between Mourinho and the press. Chelsea’s boss pointed to the Sky Sports cameraman who insisted on focusing on Torres for too long and should not have behaved in such an unprofessional way.

Torres has had problems adapting even since he left Liverpool. He has never got around to scoring the way he did back in the day. His lack of efficiency has been constantly reported on by the press which according to Mourinho, did nothing else than to burry Torres even deeper in his mire of had form and poor confidence. Apparently, the Spaniard has a hard time dealing with the pressure of being the most expensive transfer in the Premier League.

Chelsea are still fighting for the Premier League title and for Champions League glory. Even if Torres is set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, Mourinho still needs him to score a few more goals before he leaves. Unfortunately, it seems that no matter how much support the Spanish international receives, he is still having trouble dealing with all the pressure. Rumors have it he will return to Atletico where he first made an impression on European football. Maybe this is the move he has been waiting for considering how much he has struggled with Chelsea.

Torres might become leverage for the Blues who want to replace him with Diego Costa. The Spanish international would make a great addition to the team which will be without any strikers at the beginning of the summer if all the centre-forwards leave as it is rumoured.
