Mourinho Preparing Kalas For His Return To Stamford Bridge

Mourinho’s long term plan seems to be very complex. Aside from all the important transfers he made, the Portuguese manager is also interested in taking care of the players who are sent on loan. He looks keen on preparing them to come back to Stamford Bridge and become part of a group which is already looking incredible. The latest name who seems to be advancing towards a new step in his development is Tomas Kalas. The 21 year old who is now playing for Koln in Germany but is to be transferred to QPR as part of loan deal. According to TalkSport, bringing him back to the Premier League is a clear sign that Mourinho wants to use him in the near future. With Terry closing in on his last years as a footballer, Kalas looks like an excellent replacement. Next to Zouma who is already making appearances for the Blues, the Czech international will more than likely build the central axis of Chelsea’s future defensive line.

The central defender who made just 4 appearances for the Londoners since being promoted from the U21 team has had trouble in the Bundesliga. He is clearly better suited for the Premier League where he will probably continue playing. QPR will not say no to Kalas who in his few games on Stamford Bridge, showed a lot of great qualities and a lot of maturity for a player his age. Hopefully returning to the UK will help turn him into a top notch defender.
