Mourinho Not Worried By PSG’s Interest In Hazard And Oscar

The Blues are in a good position to win silverware this season, and the majority of the credit is down to Eden Hazard, who is enjoying an outstanding campaign. Oscar too has been brilliant for the Blues, as the duo look to maintain this form through to the end of the season.

It is only natural that their form has attracted big clubs, who are all watching them from close quarters. The latest to be linked with both of them are French giants PSG. Transfer rumors for two key players at such a crucial juncture in the season is sure to irk any manager, however Mourinho is calm as he claims that he will be protected from PSG’s interest due to the Financial Fair Play rule, as the Express reports.

Having been introduced recently, it disallows clubs to spend outside their means, and the fact that Mourinho has slapped a ridiculous asking price of £300 million for the two, he is more or less certain of keeping hold of his attackers. When asked whether PSG’s interest bothers him, he calmly replied, “No, it’s not irritating. It’s no problem.

“If there is Financial Fair Play, they don’t have the money to buy them. If there is no Financial Fair Play, £300m for both, Chelsea have to think about it.”

Oscar and Hazard must surely be on Chelsea’s untouchables list if there is such a thing.
