Mount, Azpilicueta And Havertz To Start, Pulisic And Lukaku Out: Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Face Watford

Chelsea will be keen to finish the season on a high after what has been a difficult last few months both on and off the pitch.

A number of players could well be saying their goodbyes at Stamford Bridge. Antonio Rudiger has confirmed his departure, while Andreas Christensen is also expected to leave. Both Marcos Alonso and captain Cesar Azpilicueta are said to be keen on moving back to Spain, while Saul Niguez won’t be kept after his loan spell.

In terms of who will start in goal versus Watford tomorrow, manager Thomas Tuchel may opt to give Kepa Arrizabalaga some game time, with Edouard Mendy dropping to the bench.

Azpilicueta could replace Trevoh Chalobah in the back three, with Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger keeping their spots following the 1-1 draw against Leicester on Thursday evening. Alonso and Reece James are expected to start as the two wingbacks.

N’Golo Kante was substituted midweek, with Tuchel remarking on his poor fitness record afterwards, so it may suggest the Frenchman won’t feature tomorrow. Ruben Loftus-Cheek could line up alongside Jorginho in the middle of the park.

We may see Romelu Lukaku and Christian Pulisic making way for Kai Havertz and Mason Mount up front, with Hakim Ziyech retaining his place in the starting eleven.

Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Play Watford:

Kepa, James, Azpilicueta, Silva, Rudiger, Alonso, Loftus-Cheek, Jorginho, Ziyech, Havertz, Mount
