Mount And Pulisic In, Jorginho And Hudson Odoi Out: Chelsea’s Predicted Line Up To Face Arsenal

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard will ring the changes against Arsenal following the Blues’ shock defeat to Southampton on Boxing Day.

The 3-4-3 formation proved to be ineffective and will likely be abandoned in favour of a 4-3-3 when Lampard’s side travel to the Emirates tomorrow afternoon.

Kurt Zouma could drop out as Chelsea revert to a four-man backline, with Emerson expected to keep his place with Marcos Alonso struggling with a muscular injury.

In midfield, Mateo Kovacic will likely be recalled, with Jorginho perhaps the likeliest to be benched so Lampard can get Mason Mount back into the starting line up.

After being taken off at half time on Thursday, Callum Hudson-Odoi will probably have to settle for a place on the bench, with Christian Pulisic replacing him in the eleven. Tammy Abraham is expected to keep his place in the team, with Willian playing off the right flank.

Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Face Arsenal:

Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Tomori, Emerson, Kante, Mount, Kovacic, Willian, Abraham, Pulisic
