Mou Still Looking For His Best Eleven

Mou Still Looking For His Best Eleven

Mourinho’s move to Chelsea was one of the biggest moments of the summer. He left Real Madrid and came to manage the Blues for the second time in his career. His feud with Abramovich is apparently over, but even so it looked like things were a little tense at Stamford Bridge after the two losses in a row. Mou has had a rough couple of weeks alternating both good and bad results and performances. His team lost their first match against Basel in the Champions League group stage and are currently fourth in the Premier League standings.

The lack of consistency on Chelsea’s behalf is attributed to the fact that Mourinho has not yet found the best starting line-up. The Portuguese coach stated that it is up to the players to make the team, referring to the fact that he is going to use only those that are giving it their all. He also mentioned the fact that his picks are not made by taking into consideration his previous experience with the team or the players’ previous performances.

According to the DailyMail, Mourinho’s confusing statements that hinted towards the fact that his team is not yet properly put together came as a reaction to all the questions regarding Mata. He was one of Chelsea’s best players from last season and he put in some great performances. Regardless, the Blues’ manager has decided to place him on the bench and push him away from the starting line-up which as expected is a highly controversial choice. There is no real explanation for Mou’s actions except that which refers to the fact that he is currently counting on the players who are most prepared, determined and fit the plan he devised for the blues before rejoining them in June .

The Portuguese manager has not been very pleased with the way his team has performed up until now and he looks a bit concerned with the overall situation at Stamford Bridge but he still laughed at the suggestions of a crisis at the Bridge, saying there is a crisis in Syria but not in West London.
