More Talk Of Messi Unhappiness In Barcelona

So this story might be another wild-goose chase and we think that it most likely will turn out that way but it is a great story to cover as if it turns out to be true then it will rock the football world to its core. On the talkSPORT morning show today they chatted with Barca based Lee Roden about what is going on at the Catalan giants.

With problems with the new manager Luis Enrique and some of his selections, Roden talks about the problems at the club emanating from the top down and specifically the President Josep Maria Bartomeu who has called early elections in a bid to re-affirm his status at the club. Seemingly, after the recent sacking of Andoni Zubizarreta (Sporting Director), President Bartomeu has fallen out with manager Enrique and even more crazily Lionel Messi. Naturally this has only added to the rumors suggesting Messi is ready to depart the madness in Barca for a place somewhere fresh where good friends of his are enjoying their football – read Stamford Bridge where close friend Cesc Fabregas is running things and has the Blues fighting for 4 trophies.

Listen to the clip below from the talkSPORT breakfast show with Alan Brazil where they also discuss the potential move of Victor Valdes to Manchester United and more importantly what is going on with the great Lionel Messi in Barcelona and his possible move to West London to play for Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea side.
