Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan are both interested in signing Chelsea left-back Marcos Alonso, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Spaniard is expected to be offloaded this summer if a buyer can be found, with manager Frank Lampard keen on signing Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.
Alonso has struggled for consistency in recent seasons and supporters on Twitter would be open to the fullback leaving, with many hoping that he could be used in a part-exchange deal with Atletico for either Jan Oblak or Jose Gimenez:

If Atletico are indeed interested in Alonso, it would certainly be interesting to see whether director Marina Granovskaia would enquire about Oblak or Gimenez.
The pair are key first-team players for manager Diego Simeone so it would be surprising if they would be open to selling them. However, Oblak has given the Blues a glimmer hope by stating in a recent interview that he will discuss his future after the Champions League is over:
“I’ll look back at the season when the last game is over, and hopefully, we’ll have three more [games to play]. Then there will be time to talk. But first, Leipzig. I’m really looking forward to it.”
