Marin Considers Chelsea Exit

According to the Daily Star, Chelsea youngster Marko Marin is considering the exit door at Stamford Bridge, as the German winger has been enjoying his year long loan spell at Spanish outfit Sevilla.

Marin began his career at Borussia Monchengladbach in 2005, and soon signed on for the senior team. After a four-year spell climbing up the hierarchy from the youth level to the senior team, Marin moved to Werder Bremen for an estimated £7 million fee, and settled into the club for three seasons. In his time at Bremen, Marin made 87 appearances with 8 goals. Then, in the summer of 2012 the midfielder moved to Stamford Bridge. His first season only saw him represent the club on 6 occasions, forcing a loan move for the following season. The German found his way to Sevilla on a year-long loan move, and has made 12 appearances this season.

The 25-year old seems to have found his form at Sevilla, and could make the move permanent if both parties agree to a move in the summer. Given Jose Mourinho’s diverse options in midfield, the player could be granted his wish of a move.
