‘Man’s Done Nothing Wrong’ ‘Treated Him Unfairly’ Waste Of A Signing’ Fans React As Chelsea Consider Terminating Player’s Contract

Chelsea are weighing up whether to terminate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contract, according to reports in the Catalan media.

The 33-year-old was pictured in Barcelona’s dressing room after their win against Real Madrid at the weekend, and it is believed he would like to re-join the club just months after leaving the Camp Nou.

Aubameyang has another year left on his current deal with the Blues but the agreement could be ripped up early this summer. Many fans on Twitter are disappointed with the way things have turned out for the ex-Arsenal striker, with many feeling that he hasn’t been treated entirely fairly:

It should be pointed out that, officially, Aubameyang is injured, with a back problem having kept him out of recent matchday squads, although his trip to Spain does suggest that more is going on.

Aubameyang was a signing brought in by previous coach Thomas Tuchel and it has been pretty clear for a number of months that he isn’t part of Graham Potter’s first-team plans. A parting of ways seems best for all parties.
