Chelsea attacking midfielder Ross Barkley capped off an excellent week by providing two assists in the 4-0 win over Everton yesterday.
The 26-year-old’s perfectly timed through ball set up Pedro for the second goal of the game, and he laid on a pass to Willian for the Blues’ third just after half time.
Fans on Twitter feel Barkley deserves to be praised after a superb individual display:

He was man of match for me closely followed by Giroud Pedro and Gilmour but everyone played their part.

He was so good today.. Just wish his lesser performances weren't so far away from the level he had today! Still have faith in the lad though #KTBFFH

Barkley is the very definition of a confidence player, and after scoring a fantastic long-range effort to seal a 2-0 victory against Liverpool last Tuesday, he carried on from where he left off with another excellent performance at the weekend.
In the past, the England international has flattered to deceive when asked to put in a consistent run of good displays, and it remains to be seen whether this latest streak will turn into something more substantial. He will likely get another chance to impress against Aston Villa on Saturday.
