Chelsea were quite simply terrible against Arsenal midweek and manager Frank Lampard has admitted his team is simply too easy to play against.
The Blues face a Bournemouth side today who know that one more win will seal Premier League safety and, astonishingly, they could go above their opponents in the table if they get the three points.
In terms of Lampard’s starting eleven, he will likely keep faith with Kepa in goal, with Wesley Fofana and Thiago Silva as the two centre-backs.
There could be a change at right-back, though, with Trevoh Chalobah replacing Cesar Azpilicueta, and Ben Chilwell starting on the other flank.
Conor Gallagher or Carney Chukwuemeka should be considered in midfield but Lampard seems reluctant to drop either Mateo Kovacic or N’Golo Kante, so they may keep their positions alongside Enzo Fernandez.
Up front, Raheem Sterling’s disappointing recent displays should see him dropped in favour of Mykhailo Mudryk, Kai Havertz is expected to come in for the abject Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while Noni Madueke should retain his place after impressing against the Gunners.
Chelsea’s Predicted XI To Play Bournemouth:
Kepa, Chalobah, Fofana, Silva, Chilwell, Kante, Fernandez, Kovacic, Madueke, Havertz, Mudryk
