Everton have put Chelsea defender David Luiz on a list of three potential targets to sign before the transfer deadline, according to the Sun. In what is one of the stranger transfer stories of the window so far, the Toffees believe they have a chance of signing the Brazilian.
Considering the 32-year-old only signed a new deal back in May and the fact he is poised to be a first-team regular under Frank Lampard this season, fans on Twitter have been pretty dismissive of the report:

Everton are also said to be considering Fikayo Tomori as well as Bournemouth’s Nathan Ake as possible options. Chelsea may be more open to a move for Tomori considering he is somewhat down the pecking order.
Kurt Zouma, Andreas Christensen and Luiz will all likely get more game time than the 21-year-old, while Antonio Rudiger will also be favoured ahead of him when the German returns to fitness.
