Lukaku who repeatedly told the press he is looking to make a decision sometime this week, will have to consider Tottenham as a possible destination. After Arsenal and Everton have been recently linked to the 21 year old, Spurs have joined the race. According to Metro, Chelsea is expected to receive a £20million from their Premier League rivals who seem to have struck out with last year’s transfers. Lukaku would make a great addition to any Premier League team considering his performances over the past two seasons. Chelsea seem to be the only team who don’t consider Lukaku good enough to replace Torres, Demba Ba or Eto’o all of which barely managed to score a handful of goals.

Apparently, Spurs have been monitoring Lukaku for a long time. Despite not showing any interest up until now, the look pretty determined to seal the deal as soon as possible. With the Premier League less than two months away, the Belgian international will have to make a quick decision. It is clear by now that there is no future for him at Stamford Bridge despite the club’s lack of motive to get rid of the 21 year old.

Hopefully for him, he will find his place soon and he will perform better with each season just as he did since moving to the Premier League from Belgium.
